Kiwi – Wifi
This little unit is a plug and play wireless device that comes attached with a 6ft OBDII cable for easy install. Also comes with a power switch bult in, to prevent you having to plug and unplug the device. It’s compatible with 96 and later vehicles. You simply connect the device with the 802.11a/b/g connection in adhoc mode.
I recently purchased this device for my own projects, and i have to say, it is awesome. I know of the same units that cost over $1000 and for less then $300 you can have the same functions, and less weight to carry around. No more laptops. You can use your iPhone, iPod Touch, or even the iPad. Unit covers everything from checking and deleting error codes, to boost pressure, oil temp, RPMS, speed, g-force, and more. This little device is awesome to have, and I would recommend it to everyone that wants to keep their engines well tuned, and ready for the track at a moments notice.
They also carry the Kiwi Wi-fi iMFD, which allows you to do the same functions but with the IMED you can have gauges installed in the actual car. Either way, both products are awesome. So check them out, and give them a try.
